Yaar, seriously — Indore mein ₹100 ke andar itna amazing khana milta hai ki baaki cities waale jealous ho jaayein. Yeh woh cheat sheet hai jo tumhe chaahiye thi — area wise, dish wise, aur woh famous joints jo decades se chal rahe hain. Screenshot karo, send karo apne gang ko. Chalo nikalte hain.
🍽️ 56 DUKAN (CHAPPAN DUKAN) — Indore Ka Original Food Court
Location: New Palasia | Timing: 6 AM–10 PM
Young Tarang — Poha-Jalebi | ₹25-40
Indore ka most famous poha stop. Steam rising, fresh poha with sev, nimbu. Jalebi saath mein. Before 9:30 AM jaao — freshest batch. Line hogi — worth it.
Madhuram Sweets — Shikanji (shot glass) | ₹100 / Rabdi | ₹40-60
Woh famous shikanji — thick, saffron, rabdi. ₹100 mein ek shot glass — concentrated dessert drink. Also: Badam Caramel ₹30, Dahi Wada ₹25.
Vijay Chaat House — Khopra Pattice | ₹30-40
Deep-fried potato + coconut filling, topped with sweet/tangy chutney and pomegranate. Unique to Indore — Surat ka 108-year-old recipe brought here decades ago. Can’t find this anywhere else.
Johny Hot Dog — Veg Hot Dog | ₹50-60
Crispy aloo patty in a bun, green chutney, ketchup. Desi version. The only non-veg option at 56 Dukan — famous even with veg crowd for ambiance.
Shahi Rasmalai (various stalls) — ₹40-50
Made with sugarcane — not the usual rasmalai. Indore’s specific version.

Jalebo — ₹10-20 per piece
King-size jalebi — as thick as your thumb. One piece feeds 4-5 people. Crispy, syrupy, warm — woh one bite jo forever yaad rahega.
Sabudana Khichdi — ₹30-50
Tapioca pearls, peanuts, spices — comfort food that nowhere else matches Indore version. Available at multiple stalls.
Khopra Pattice at Sarafa (Mittal wala) — ₹30-40
Fixed shop — runs even when others are closed. Consistent quality.
Moong Dal Halwa (warm) — ₹30-50

Rajwada ke bahar subah woh chai stalls — ₹15 mein cutting chai + muft mein sheher ki gossip. Dawn mein peeyo.
Samosa + Kachori stalls — ₹10-20
Batla kachori (green peas filling, not lentil — Indori style) and samosa with dry fruit filling. Rajwada area mein kuch specific shops decades se chal rahi hain.
