The Hype: Every second Instagram story from Indore foodies
The Reality: Honestly? Worth it! The pastel interiors live up to the photos, the coffee is genuinely good (latte ₹150 — fair price), and the service is attentive. The avocado toast was a bit pricey at ₹280 but tasted real.
Verdict: ✅ Worth It — 8/10
Cafe #2 — Vintage Vibes Cafe (Palasia)
The Hype: “Feels like you’re in Europe!” posts everywhere
The Reality: The decor is beautiful, no doubt. But the food is average at premium prices. The pasta was okay, cold brew was good. Primarily an Instagram destination.
Verdict: 🤔 Maybe — 6/10 (go for photos, eat elsewhere)

The Hype: “Books + food = perfect Sunday”
The Reality: This one surprised me! The book collection is real and curated, the filter coffee is excellent, and they have genuinely comfortable chairs. The butter croissant was flaky and fresh. A hidden gem that deserves more love.
Verdict: ✅ Absolutely Worth It — 9/10
Cafe #4 — Cloud Nine Rooftop Cafe (AB Road)
The Hype: Rooftop views, great for groups
The Reality: The view is good but the food quality dipped on my second visit. Service was slow on weekends. The mocktails were refreshing though. Inconsistent — could be better or worse on any given day.
Verdict: ⚠️ Risky — 6.5/10
Cafe #5 — Mitti Cafe (Vijay Nagar)
The Hype: Social enterprise cafe run by differently-abled staff
The Reality: Beyond the social impact (which is incredible), the food is genuinely delicious. The dosas, sandwiches, and chai here are made with love and care that you can actually taste. And the warmth of the service team is unmatched anywhere in Indore.
Verdict: ✅✅ MUST VISIT — 10/10, Go for the food AND the heart
